Charter Australia offers packaged courses to international students, where you enroll in more than one qualifications or courses with the highest qualification being the principle course of study.
Some of the benefits would be that you are eligible to apply for a longer duration of visa in the first instance which will cover your entire duration of studies.

Packaged Course
Package 3 – (3 years)
CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (6 months)
CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support with Credit Transfer (6 months)
Diploma of Community Servicees (2 years)
Career Outcomes
Graduates from the course will have opportunity to work as a:
- Assistant in Nursing in aged care facilities and/or hospitals
- Team leader, supervisor in aged care facilities
- Home and community care coordinator
- Aged care, community and disability case manager
- Community and social worker
Pathways to Further Studies
Both the packaged courses provide pathways to the following qualifications with the possibility of receiving credits.
- HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Bachelor of Social Worker
Course Entrance Requirements
Academic Requirement
There are no academic entry requirements for this qualification
English Language Requirements
International students are required to produce one item of evidence of English proficiency according to the following:

- IELTS English language proficiency at a minimum level of 5.5 (Academic) Upper Intermediate level of English completed in Australia
- Completion of 1-year full-time study in Australia
- Successful completion of Charter Australia’s LLN Test.
Age Restrictions
Applicants must be 18 years of age or above.
Attendance
International students enrolled in the packaged courses are required to attend 20 hours training each week during school terms.
Classes are held at Charter Australia’s campus in North Sydney during study terms excluding public holidays.
Work placement schedule and location will be advised in class.
Work Placement
Charter Australia organise weekly work placement for our enrolled students in an accredited residential facility and a Charter Australia’s trainer is present at all times to work with the students while on work placement. Work placement is an integrated model of classroom training and work placement each week. Before undertaking any work placements in a care facility, students will be required, at their own costs to undertake:
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Health screening & any necessary vaccinations
To attend work placement students are required to wear Charter Australia’s uniform (included in the materials provided) and also have appropriate black pants and black rubber sole footwear.
Intake Dates
Charter Australia uses rolling enrolment. Students can commence the course at any time at Charter Australia’s campus in North Sydney during school terms.
